In case you skipped the video that already explained all of this at the beginning, welcome. My name is Noor. I also go by Noor Adel Bekhiet or just Noor Bekhiet. It’s nice to meet you. I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Egyptian-American, Muslim, immigrant parents. Interesting combination, I know. If you ever wondered what the common denominator was between the Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt and the Green Bay Packers, here I am.

I am a creative currently based in Madrid, where I am getting my Masters degree until July 2022, but looking to move to wherever my next step takes me. Probably due to my upbringing in two extremes, I am the queen of existing at the intersection of things that don’t normally go together. For example, I love problem-solving (e.g. one time I coded a spreadsheet that allowed me to put in 2 colors and spit out their color baby based on the area of the shapes they were going to fill), but I also love sheer chaos (e.g. one time I spilled coffee on something I had been drawing for 18 hours and I got so mad I poured the rest of my coffee on it and then liked it and made a new drawing out of it). A lot of things about me seem at odds with each other, and yet they come together to make one giant, complex thing that somehow just works. 

Or at least that’s what I tell myself to make myself feel better. 

Anyways, it’s really hard for me to write these “about me”s, because really, I haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of who I am in this little blurb. Also I can’t really build a story out of all the things that make up me because like I said before, they don’t really all go together at all. For example, I am also a certified yoga and fitness instructor and I also speak 4 languages and I also used to be in an acapella group. See what I mean? 

Regardless, all I can do is give you this sneak peak and work off of the assumption that you’ll be intrigued enough to see what this is all about. It’s worth it, I promise.
